100 Method of conducting hearings (1) If the Tribunal thinks it appropriate, it may conduct all or part of a proceeding by means of a conference conducted using telephones, video links or any other system of telecommunication. S. 100(2) substituted by No. 11/2021 s. 58. (2) The Tribunal may conduct all or part of a proceeding entirely on the basis of documents, without the appearance of the parties or their representatives or witnesses, unless a party objects to all or part of the proceeding being conducted in this manner. S. 100(3) inserted by No. 11/2021 s. 58. (3) The Tribunal may conduct all or part of a proceeding (other than a prescribed proceeding or a prescribed class of proceeding) entirely on the basis of documents, without the appearance of the parties or their representatives or witnesses, if— (a) a party objects to all or part of the proceeding being conducted in this manner; and (b) the Tribunal is satisfied that the objection is not reasonable. S. 100(4) inserted by No. 6/2025 s. 180. (4) Subsections (2) and (3) do not apply to any RDRV proceeding. Note to s. 100 inserted by No. 58/2013 s. 59. The **Open Courts Act 2013** governs suppression orders and closed tribunal orders generally in relation to the Tribunal. S. 101 amended by No. 51/2000 s. 23, repealed by No. 58/2013 s. 60.
