65 Resignation and retirement (1) A police officer or protective services officer may resign or retire from Victoria Police by giving written notice of not less than 4 weeks (or a shorter period agreed by the Chief Commissioner) to the Chief Commissioner. (2) This section does not apply to the Chief Commissioner, a Deputy Commissioner or an Assistant Commissioner.
