61A Code of conduct S. 61A(1) amended by No. 55/2025 s. 115(1). (1) Subject to subsection (1A), the Chief Commissioner may issue a code setting out the conduct required of members of Victoria Police personnel at all times. S. 61A(1A) inserted by No. 55/2025 s. 115(2). (1A) Before issuing a code of conduct, the Chief Commissioner must— (a) consult with the Minister on the contents of the proposed code of conduct; and (b) consider any advice or opinion given by the Minister during the consultation. (2) The Chief Commissioner may amend or revoke a code issued under subsection (1). (3) The Chief Commissioner must publish the code of conduct on an Internet site maintained by Victoria Police.
