221 Criminal record and other checks For the purposes set out in section 220, the PRS Board may require an applicant or proposed appointee to do any of the following— (a) obtain a check of the applicant's or proposed appointee's criminal record and provide the result of the check to the PRS Board; (b) submit to any tests required by the PRS Board; (c) provide the PRS Board with any references or reports; (d) provide the PRS Board with satisfactory evidence of previous service as a police officer or as an officer or member of the police force of another jurisdiction; (e) provide written consent for the PRS Board to obtain information about the applicant's or proposed appointee's previous service with Victoria Police or the police force of another jurisdiction.
