160Witness summons

160 Witness summons (1) On an appeal or a review the President or the Deputy President assigned to the Review Division may issue a summons to a person to attend the PRS Board to give evidence and produce any documents that are referred to in the summons. (2) A summons may be served on a person— (c) by leaving it at the person's usual or last known residential or business address with a person on the premises apparently at least 16 years old and apparently residing or employed there. (3) A summons is to be taken to have been served on a person— (a) in the case of delivery in person—at the time of delivery; or S. 160(3)(b) repealed by No. 54/2016 s. 19(1). (c) in the case of fax or email—at the time the fax or email is received. (4) If a fax or email is received after 4.00 p.m. on any day, it is to be taken to have been received on the next business day. Note to s. 160 inserted by No. 54/2016 s. 19(2). The **Electronic Transactions (Victoria) Act 2000** provides that a document may be served electronically, including by fax and email, in accordance with that Act.
