#### 96 Definitions 96 Definitions > In this Division— > > aggrieved person, in relation to an offence, means a person who has sustained loss through or by reason of— > > > (a) an offence for which the offender has been convicted, or > > > (b) a further offence that a court has taken into account under Division 3 of Part 3 of the [Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-092) in imposing a penalty for an offence for which the offender has been convicted. > > court means the Supreme Court, the Court of Criminal Appeal, the District Court or the Local Court.
