#### 82 Application for restraining order 82 Application for restraining order > > (1) An appropriate officer may apply, ex parte, to the Supreme Court for a restraining order in relation to property of the defendant or property under the effective control of the defendant. > > > (2) On an application under this section— > > > > > (a) the Supreme Court may, if it thinks fit, require the person making the application to give notice of the application to a person who the Court has reason to believe has an interest in the property or part of the property, and > > > > > (b) a person to whom the Court requires notice to be given under paragraph (a) is entitled to appear and to adduce evidence at the hearing of the application.
