#### 100 Payment of sum directed 100 Payment of sum directed > Subject to section 9 of the [Criminal Appeal Act 1912](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1912-016) and to the provisions of the [Criminal Procedure Act 1986](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1986-209), any sum directed to be paid by an offender to an aggrieved person, under a direction for compensation, must be paid immediately, or within such period (if any) as is specified in the direction, to the registrar of the court for payment to the aggrieved person.
