84 Effect of appeal etc
(1) The commencement of any proceedings to appeal against, or review
of, a conviction for an offence for which a victims financial assistance
levy is imposed on a person stays the person’s liability to pay the levy.
(2) Setting aside a conviction annuls the person’s liability to pay the
victims financial assistance levy.
(3) Dismissal of the appeal or review removes the stay of liability.
