> > (1) [*\[Section 6A Subsection (1) amended by No. 27 of 2015, s. 5, Applied:01 Nov 2015\]*](/view/html/inforce/2015-11-01/act-2015-027#GS5@Hpa@EN) Subject to [subsection (4)](#GS6A@Gs4@EN) , the total amount (not including any amount that may be payable under [section 4(1A)](#GS4@Gs1A@EN) ) awarded to a primary victim, a secondary victim or a related victim in respect of any particular criminal conduct must not exceed the prescribed maximum.

> > > > (b) a series of offences committed by the same offender; or
> > >
> > > > (c) a series of offences committed simultaneously or consecutively by offenders acting in concert.

> > (3) A different maximum amount may be prescribed for a primary victim in respect of a series of offences than that prescribed in respect of a single offence.

> > (4) Any amount awarded under [section 4(2)(b)](#GS4@Gs2@Hpb@EN) , [section 4(3)(c)](#GS4@Gs3@Hpc@EN) or [section 4(4)(c)](#GS4@Gs4@Hpc@EN) may be paid in addition to the prescribed maximum if the Commissioner so determines.
