### 29 Registration of State as owner of forfeited property > If the forfeiture order applies to property of a particular kind and a law of Tasmania provides for the registration of title to, or of charges over, property of that kind – > > > > (a) the State is, subject to [section 28](#GS28@EN) [(b)](#GS28@Hpb@EN) , entitled to be registered as owner of the property; and > > > > > (b) the Attorney-General has power, on behalf of the State, to do or authorise the doing of anything necessary to obtain the registration of the State as owner of the property; and > > > > > (c) on the written application of the Attorney-General accompanied by a sealed copy of the order, the authority responsible for administering that law is, subject to [section 28](#GS28@EN) [(b)](#GS28@Hpb@EN) , authorised and required to register the State as owner of the property.
