80B Duties of designated building surveyors A designated building surveyor— (a) is not excused from compliance with any duties under this Act and the building regulations or under any other Act in relation to any work as a building surveyor carried out by the designated building surveyor on behalf of the registered body corporate; and (b) has the same functions in relation to the carrying out of the functions of a building surveyor on behalf of the registered body corporate as if the designated building surveyor were the private building surveyor.
