35B Persons carrying out inspections must be registered practitioners or prescribed persons The relevant building surveyor must not cause a person to carry out an inspection under section 34 or 35 on behalf of the relevant building surveyor unless— (a) the person is registered as a building surveyor or a building inspector under Part 11 and the person's registration authorises the carrying out of that inspection; or (b) in the case of an inspection that is of a prescribed class of inspection, the inspection is carried out by a person of a prescribed class of person.
