294 Actions of continuing nature relating to VMIA-issued domestic building insurance policies (1) Any act, matter or thing of a continuing nature commenced before the transfer date by the VMIA in respect of— (a) a VMIA‑issued domestic building insurance policy; or (b) a claim on a VMIA‑issued domestic building insurance policy— may be continued and completed on and after the transfer date by the Authority. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), any act or decision of the VMIA before the transfer date in relation to— (a) a VMIA‑issued domestic building insurance policy; or (b) a claim on a VMIA‑issued domestic building insurance policy— is taken after the transfer date to be an act or decision of the Authority.
