229B Certified copies of seized documents (1) If an authorised person retains possession of a document seized from a person under this Division, the authorised person must give the person, as soon as practicable after the seizure, a copy of the document certified as correct by the authorised person. (2) A copy of a document certified under subsection (1) is to be received in all courts and tribunals to be evidence of equal validity to the original. S. 229C inserted by No. 21/2017 s. 46.
