228IEntry of building or land open to the public

228I Entry of building or land open to the public (1) An authorised person may enter and inspect any part of a building or land that is, at the time of the entry and inspection, open to the public. (2) An authorised person who exercises a power of entry of a building or land under subsection (1) may, to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to determine compliance with this Act or the regulations, require a person at the building or land to produce documents to the authorised person. (3) If a person produces a document to an authorised person in accordance with a requirement under this section, the authorised person may make copies of, or take extracts from, the document.
