228A Authorisation of persons as authorised persons (1) A municipal building surveyor must not authorise a person to exercise all or any of the powers under this Division on behalf of the municipal building surveyor unless the municipal building surveyor is satisfied that the person to be authorised is appropriately qualified or has successfully completed appropriate training. (2) Energy Safe Victoria must not authorise a person to exercise all or any of the powers under this Division on its behalf unless it is satisfied that the person to be authorised is appropriately qualified or has successfully completed appropriate training. (3) A relevant building surveyor must not authorise a person to exercise all or any of the powers under this Subdivision on behalf of the relevant building surveyor unless the relevant building surveyor is satisfied that the person to be authorised is appropriately qualified or has successfully completed appropriate training.
