227I Meaning of *authorised person* in this Subdivision and interpretation (1) In this Subdivision— ***authorised person*** means any of the following persons— (b) a municipal building surveyor; (c) a natural person authorised in accordance with section 228A by a municipal building surveyor to exercise a power under this Subdivision on behalf of the municipal building surveyor; (d) a natural person authorised in accordance with section 228A by Energy Safe Victoria to exercise a power under this Subdivision in relation to Part 12A or the regulations made under that Part on behalf of Energy Safe Victoria; (e) a compliance auditor appointed under Part 12A; (f) a plumbing inspector appointed under Part 12A. (2) In this Subdivision a reference to "this Act or the regulations" is taken to be a reference to "this Act or the regulations or section 43B(1) or (2) of the **Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995**" if the relevant authorised person is a VBA inspector.
