216B Delegation by municipal building surveyor The municipal building surveyor of a council may, by instrument, delegate any of the municipal building surveyor's functions under this Act or the regulations to any person employed or engaged by the council who is registered as a building surveyor or a building inspector under Part 11 and whose registration authorises the carrying out of the work required for performing the functions to be delegated by the municipal building surveyor.
