15B Maintenance of exits (a) keeping exits in buildings and places of public entertainment and paths of travel to and from exits maintained, accessible and free from obstruction; and (b) requiring, testing or maintaining safety and emergency services, installations or equipment in buildings and places of public entertainment. (2) Despite section 262(f), regulations made under subsection (1) may impose penalties not exceeding 100 penalty units for a contravention of those regulations. (3) This section does not apply to a building that is a Class 1a or Class 10 building within the meaning of the Building Code of Australia.
