23 Cancellation of registration
(1) Where –
(a) [Section 23 Subsection (1) amended by No. 49 of 2011, s. 21, Applied:12 Dec 2012] the Board becomes aware that a registered veterinary surgeon, or registered veterinary specialist, who is registered under this Part has died; or
(b) [Section 23 Subsection (1) amended by No. 49 of 2011, s. 21, Applied:12 Dec 2012] a registered veterinary surgeon or a registered veterinary specialist requests that his registration under this Part be cancelled –
the Board shall cancel the registration of that person.
(2) A request referred to in subsection (1) (b) shall be in writing and shall be accompanied by the certificate of registration issued under section 21 .
(3) Where the Board cancels the registration of a person pursuant to subsection (1) , it shall remove the entry in the register in respect of that registration.
