sec.38 Continuation of board membership
This section applies to a person who, immediately before the commencement of the section, is a member. The member— continues in office; and is taken to be appointed as a member under section 4C; and holds office on the conditions not provided for by this Act that are decided by the Minister. Also, the member who, immediately before the commencement of this section, is the president of the board is taken to be the chairperson. s 38 prev s 38 om 1986 No. 6 s 42 pres s 38 ins 2001 No. 63 s 57 (sec.38-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who, immediately before the commencement of the section, is a member. (sec.38-ssec.2) The member— continues in office; and is taken to be appointed as a member under section 4C; and holds office on the conditions not provided for by this Act that are decided by the Minister. (sec.38-ssec.3) Also, the member who, immediately before the commencement of this section, is the president of the board is taken to be the chairperson.
