Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This instrument defines which parts of Australia count as "country areas" for veterans’ hospital treatment benefits by excluding specified metropolitan postcodes — effectively treating all locations outside major capital-city postcode zones as country areas. It affects veterans and their dependents’ eligibility and subsidy levels under the Veterans' Entitlements Act and replaces a 1986 determination (commenced 15 March 2000).
