#### 45TK Cancellation of membership A person’s membership of the pension bonus scheme is cancelled if: (a) the person’s claim for pension bonus is determined; or (b) in a case where the person is eligible for an age service pension—the person starts to receive: (i) a social security pension (other than a carer payment); or (ii) a social security benefit; or (iii) a service pension (other than an age service pension or a carer service pension); or (iv) income support supplement (other than income support supplement that is payable as a result of the operation of subclause 8(3) of Schedule 5); at any time after the person’s special date of eligibility for an age service pension; or (c) in a case where the person is eligible for a partner service pension—the person starts to receive: (i) a social security pension (other than a carer payment); or (ii) a social security benefit; or (iii) a service pension (other than a partner service pension or a carer service pension); at any time after the person’s special date of eligibility for a partner service pension; or (d) in a case where the person is eligible for income support supplement (other than income support supplement that is payable as a result of the operation of subclause 8(3) of Schedule 5)—the person starts to receive: (i) a social security pension (other than a carer payment); or (ii) a social security benefit; or (iii) a service pension (other than a carer service pension); at any time after the person’s special date of eligibility for income support supplement; or (e) the person does not make a proper claim for a pension bonus when the person claims a designated pension; or (f) the person requests the Commission, in writing, to cancel the person’s membership.
