Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This determination declares that ADF members serving on Operation Catalyst from 16 July 2003 are performing "warlike service" in Iraq and surrounding regions (specified Gulf states, the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz and adjacent air/sea/land). That classification makes affected personnel eligible for warlike-service veterans' entitlements under the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986, with corresponding benefit and eligibility implications.
