Division 1—Courses
6 Purpose of this Division
This Division is made for the purposes of paragraph 14(2)(b) of the Act.
7 Kinds of courses
(1) If the course provider receives funding from a State or Territory for enrolments in the course, the course must lead to a qualification of diploma or advanced diploma in the Australian Qualifications Framework. (2) If the course meets the requirements set out in subsection (1), the course is a State or Territory subsidised course.
8 Course content and activities must be necessary
The course must not include content or activities that do not contribute to achieving the qualification concerned.
