51Retaining information and documents

#### 51 Retaining information and documents (1) An approved course provider must retain documents and information: (a) related to the operation of this Act; and (b) specified by the rules. (2) The documents and information must be retained for: (a) the period specified in the rules; or (b) if no period is specified—7 years. (3) An approved course provider contravenes this subsection if the provider fails to retain documents and information in accordance with this section. Civil penalty: 60 penalty units. (4) An approved course provider commits an offence of strict liability if the provider contravenes this section. Penalty: 60 penalty units.
