Tasmania regulation
These regulations amend the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2021 to address personal mobility devices. They take effect on the day their making is notified in the Gazette, and the amendments are incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Regulations.
The instrument is procedural: it does not itself set fees, penalties or operational rules but modifies the Principal Regulations that do. Affected parties are users, manufacturers and operators governed by those Regulations; the Department of State Growth administers the instrument (ss 2–4).
