58A Vehicle inspection fees

[Section 58A Inserted by No. 62 of 2007, s. 5, Applied:01 Jan 2008] If an inspection of a vehicle under this Act is carried out by –

(a) a police officer or an authorised officer, the prescribed fee is payable to the Registrar; or

(b) a person who has an agreement with the Crown to carry out inspections of vehicles, the fee specified by that person is payable to that person; or

(c) some other person approved by the Registrar –

(i) the fee specified by that person's employer is payable to that employer; or

(ii) if that person is self-employed, the fee specified by that person is payable to that person.
