> > (1) Each year the Valuer-General shall furnish to the Commissioner of Fire and Rescue NSW an estimate of the aggregated land values that would most likely result if a general valuation were to be made (as at 1 July of the year preceding the year in which the estimate is furnished) of all ratable land within any area constituted as a fire district under section 5 of the [Fire and Rescue NSW Act 1989](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1989-192).

> > (2) The estimate shall be separately expressed in respect of so much of the land within the district as is within each local government area.
>
> > (3) The aggregated land values estimated under this section shall be the aggregated land values for the purposes of—
> >
> > > (a) (Repealed)
> >
> > > (b) any apportionment, under section 51 of the [Fire and Rescue NSW Act 1989](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1989-192), to be made in respect of a contribution to the estimated expenditure of fire brigades for the year concerned.

> > (4) This section applies only to such fire districts as include more than one, or parts of more than one, local government area.
