75I Directions about code, s 75E or s 75GA (1) This section applies if the ICRC is satisfied that a NERL retailer has contravened, or is likely to contravene— (a) an industry code that applies to the retailer; or (b) section 75E (Greenpower obligations—general); or (c) section 75GA (Obligation to give electricity price information). (2) The ICRC may give a written direction to the retailer to take action stated in the direction to ensure compliance with the code, section 75E or section 75GA, including action— (a) to rectify the contravention; or (b) to avoid the likely contravention. (3) The ICRC may give a direction under this section only if it has taken reasonable steps to consult the retailer about the giving of the direction.
