54L Offence—failure to register (1) A person commits an offence if— (a) the person becomes an energy utility; and (b) the person does not apply to the commissioner for revenue to be registered as an energy utility within 90 days after the day the person becomes an energy utility. Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units. (2) Strict liability applies to subsection (1) (a).
