15Prescribed utility services

15 Prescribed utility services (1) The regulations may prescribe— (a) a service related or ancillary to a utility service mentioned in division 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 or 2.4; or (b) a service complementary to the operations of a utility; to be a utility service. (2) The regulations may prescribe the utility network, and the infrastructure it consists of, for a utility service prescribed by regulations under subsection (1). (3) Regulations made for this section may— (a) exempt a person from a stated requirement under this Act; and (b) state the circumstances in which an exemption applies.
