34 Definitions—sdiv 3.3.2 In this subdivision: canopy contribution means an action taken under a canopy contribution agreement to counterbalance the loss of canopy coverage as a result of the removal of a protected tree from the urban forest. decision-maker, in relation to a protected tree that is proposed to be removed in accordance with a development approval, means the territory planning authority. financial settlement, in relation to a canopy contribution agreement—see section 36 (2) (b). on-site canopy contribution, in relation to a canopy contribution agreement—see section 36 (2) (a).
