The Vice-Chancellor may appoint:
(a) a Deputy Vice-Chancellor, or
(b) in the absence of a Deputy Vice-Chancellor, a Pro-Vice-Chancellor,
as Acting Vice-Chancellor, when the Vice-Chancellor is absent from the University.
