For the Act, section 8D(3)(a), a postgraduate student of the University seeking election to the Council as an elected (student) member must have the following qualifications—
(a) the student’s name is on the Roll of Postgraduate Students at the close of nominations for the election,
(b) the student is a fit and proper person.
