> For the Act, section 8D(3)(a), a person seeking election to the Council as an elected (non-academic staff) member must have the following qualifications—

> > (a) the person’s name is on the Roll of Non-Academic Staff at the close of nominations for the election,

> > (b) the person is a fit and proper person.
