31 Voting by chairperson If the chairperson of a general meeting would otherwise have the right to vote at the meeting: (a) the chairperson has the right to vote at the meeting; and (b) if the voting on a motion that must be passed by an ordinary resolution is equal, the chairperson may cast a deciding vote in addition to a vote cast under paragraph (a).
