sec.10 Corporations

This section applies to a party to a proceeding, other than a proceeding under the Corporations Act or the Admiralty Act 1988 (Cwlth) , if the party is a corporation. The party may apply in the approved form to a registrar for an order that the party pay the reduced fee instead of a relevant fee for the proceeding. See, however, section 7 (2) . The registrar may, by order, approve that the party pay the reduced fee instead of the relevant fee for the proceeding only if the registrar reasonably believes the party does not have, and can not reasonably obtain from another source, sufficient funds to pay the relevant fee. The order must state the day by which the reduced fee must be paid. Subsection (4) does not apply if the relevant fee has been paid before the order is made. For refunds of excess amounts paid, see section 12 .
