Tasmania regulation
These regulations set two fixed dollar thresholds used by section 10A of the Trustee Companies Act 1953: $80,000 (for s10A(1)(c)) and $85,000 (for s10A(6)(a)). They commenced on 27 September 2016 and are administered by the Department of Justice. The practical effect is that trustee companies, trustees and parties applying s10A must use these prescribed amounts when determining whether particular statutory rules or requirements in s10A apply.
