sec.3 Purpose of Act
The purpose of this Act is to benefit the Queensland tourism industry. The purpose is to be achieved mainly by mitigating some of the harsh consequences of innkeeper’s liability and by allowing accommodation providers to exercise an innkeeper’s lien.
