106 Limited period for prosecution of transport safety law indictable offences
A proceeding for an indictable offence against this Act or a transport safety law may be commenced—

(a) within 3 years after the offence is committed or Safe Transport Victoria becomes aware the offence was committed; or
(b) at any time with the written authorisation of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
