sec.91 Inspection within 14 days—other AIS
This section applies if, within 14 days after the inspection report was issued— the owner of the vehicle, or the owner’s agent, asks the proprietor of the AIS where the inspection report was issued to arrange for the vehicle to be reinspected; and the proprietor is unable to comply with section 88 (2) . The proprietor must— arrange with the proprietor of another AIS for the vehicle to be inspected under subdivision 1 at the other AIS— at another time convenient to the owner or agent, but within 14 days after the day the inspection report was issued; and at no further cost to the owner or agent; or refund the amount paid for the inspection under section 81 to the owner or agent. Maximum penalty—30 penalty units. Subdivision 1 applies for the inspection as if the owner or agent asked the proprietor of the other AIS to issue an inspection certificate for the vehicle. (sec.91-ssec.3) Subdivision 1 applies for the inspection as if the owner or agent asked the proprietor of the other AIS to issue an inspection certificate for the vehicle.
