sec.83 Action after inspection—vehicle passes inspection
This section applies if the approved examiner who inspects the vehicle under section 82 is reasonably satisfied the vehicle is not defective. Immediately after the inspection is finished, the proprietor of the AIS must give the owner of the vehicle, or the owner’s agent, an inspection certificate for the vehicle issued under section 84 . Maximum penalty—30 penalty units. (sec.83-ssec.1) This section applies if the approved examiner who inspects the vehicle under section 82 is reasonably satisfied the vehicle is not defective. (sec.83-ssec.2) Immediately after the inspection is finished, the proprietor of the AIS must give the owner of the vehicle, or the owner’s agent, an inspection certificate for the vehicle issued under section 84 .
