sec.131 Warning signs and lights fitted to bus under repealed standard
Schedule 1, part 7, division 19 does not apply to a relevant vehicle if— immediately before the commencement— the vehicle was a bus within the meaning of the repealed standard; and the bus complied with the repealed standard , schedule 1, part 4; and from the commencement, the vehicle continues to comply with the repealed standard, schedule 1, part 4 as if the amendment regulation had not been made and the repealed standard, schedule 1, part 4 were still in force. In this section— amendment regulation means the Transport and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation 2026 . s 131 ins 2026 SL No. 4 s 46 (sec.131-ssec.1) Schedule 1, part 7, division 19 does not apply to a relevant vehicle if— immediately before the commencement— the vehicle was a bus within the meaning of the repealed standard; and the bus complied with the repealed standard , schedule 1, part 4; and from the commencement, the vehicle continues to comply with the repealed standard, schedule 1, part 4 as if the amendment regulation had not been made and the repealed standard, schedule 1, part 4 were still in force. - (a) immediately before the commencement— (i) the vehicle was a bus within the meaning of the repealed standard; and (ii) the bus complied with the repealed standard , schedule 1, part 4; and
- (i) the vehicle was a bus within the meaning of the repealed standard; and
- (ii) the bus complied with the repealed standard , schedule 1, part 4; and
- (b) from the commencement, the vehicle continues to comply with the repealed standard, schedule 1, part 4 as if the amendment regulation had not been made and the repealed standard, schedule 1, part 4 were still in force.
- (i) the vehicle was a bus within the meaning of the repealed standard; and
- (ii) the bus complied with the repealed standard , schedule 1, part 4; and
