sec.118 Certificates of inspection issued for COI vehicles before commencement
For section 71, a reference to a certificate of inspection in effect for a vehicle includes a reference to a certificate of inspection issued for the vehicle under the expired regulation while, under section 28 of the expired regulation, the certificate would be current. Section 71(1) does not apply to a person while an extension of time for complying with section 25 of the expired regulation would, but for the expiry of the expired regulation, be operating under section 29 of the expired regulation. (sec.118-ssec.1) For section 71, a reference to a certificate of inspection in effect for a vehicle includes a reference to a certificate of inspection issued for the vehicle under the expired regulation while, under section 28 of the expired regulation, the certificate would be current.
