sch.1-sec.77 Performance of headlights
When on, a headlight or additional headlight fitted to a vehicle must— show only white light; and project its main beam of light ahead of the vehicle. A headlight must be fitted to a vehicle in a way that the light from the headlight does not reflect off the vehicle into the eyes of the driver from the normal driving position of the vehicle. (sch.1-sec.77-ssec.1) When on, a headlight or additional headlight fitted to a vehicle must— show only white light; and project its main beam of light ahead of the vehicle. (sch.1-sec.77-ssec.2) A headlight must be fitted to a vehicle in a way that the light from the headlight does not reflect off the vehicle into the eyes of the driver from the normal driving position of the vehicle.
