sch.1-sec.65 Length—trailer drawbar
For a dog trailer, the distance between the pivot point of the coupling on a drawbar of the trailer and the centre line of the trailer’s front axle group or single axle must not be more than 5m. For a trailer with 1 axle group or a single axle, other than a semitrailer, the distance between the pivot point of the coupling on a drawbar of the trailer and the centre line of the trailer’s axle group or single axle must not be more than 8.5m. (sch.1-sec.65-ssec.1) For a dog trailer, the distance between the pivot point of the coupling on a drawbar of the trailer and the centre line of the trailer’s front axle group or single axle must not be more than 5m. (sch.1-sec.65-ssec.2) For a trailer with 1 axle group or a single axle, other than a semitrailer, the distance between the pivot point of the coupling on a drawbar of the trailer and the centre line of the trailer’s axle group or single axle must not be more than 8.5m.
