sch.1-sec.59 Retractable axles
A reference in this schedule to an axle is taken to include a reference to a retractable axle only when the retractable axle is in the lowered position. In this section— retractable axle means an axle with a means of adjustment enabling the axle to be raised or lowered relative to the other axles in the axle group. (sch.1-sec.59-ssec.1) A reference in this schedule to an axle is taken to include a reference to a retractable axle only when the retractable axle is in the lowered position. (sch.1-sec.59-ssec.2) In this section— retractable axle means an axle with a means of adjustment enabling the axle to be raised or lowered relative to the other axles in the axle group.
