sch.1-sec.48 Pneumatic tyres—carcass construction
The pneumatic tyres fitted to an axle of a vehicle— must not have different carcass construction; but may have different cord materials and a different number of plies. However, subsection (1) does not apply to a tyre being used in an emergency as a temporary replacement for a tyre complying with the subsection.
